iPhone 11 Pro and Canon Pro 2100 Printer

I received the iPhone 11 Pro and wanted to test the quality of the camera and how well it would print on the Canon ImagePROGRAF Pro 2100 12 colour printer.

In the video, I took the camera and very quickly took a sample picture at our office using the standard picture settings that iPhone 11 Pro has. We did not edit the photo or enhance it in any way but I did use the wide-angle lens and that was it. From there, I loaded the picture onto a USB and printed directly from the USB option rather than using the Canon print driver that can be installed on a PC or Mac.

The results were a lot better than I thought, the picture was taken on a cloudy day but it looked great. I selected the default glossy profile for the paper we used and the Canon handled it fantastic with its new AI capabilities it managed to calculate the rough length of the roll left and also the thickness of the paper.

A very good match was made to the original image taken on the phone and although the videoing of the image did not show this due to lighting, the Canon managed to recreate the colours quite respectively. This was only a very quick test but we will be doing a more in-depth look into the new features of the Canon Pro 2100 including the following,

-Passcode printing (Out next video)
-Smart Media Handling (AI)
-Improved larger touch screen
-Improved dual roll option
