Guitar legends Angus and the late-great Malcolm Young are important pioneering players that paved the way and directly influenced guitar-based rock/hard rock during the 1970s, 1980s, and beyond, as their influence can continue to be heard in new music from today, which really drives home their importance and massive musical influence through various genres and styles of music over the years.

This lesson takes a look at several simple yet rock-solid riffs and ideas from this legendary band and also serves as a worthy tribute to Malcolm Young, who in many ways was the secret weapon behind most of AC/DC gritty and powerful-sounding music. From simple anthems such as 'Jailbreak' and 'Live Wire,' to the structured riffage on 'Shake Your Foundations,' the blues-laced 'Ride On,' and much more.
