Our first few days in Northern Spain (vanlife)

And so, as you will have hopefully watched in our last video, we made it across to Spain in our van. Given the stress of the past few weeks we decided to hunker down close to Bilbao and explore the local area including the city itself along with San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. Of course, it's us on the road so expect some interesting and confusing times ahead.

We are 'The Cookes' and we simply love to travel. Join us from the road as we look to explore our planet, one cake at a time. At the beginning of 2020 we had a plan (and a backup plan) however as like most folks living our plans went up in smoke. Since then we have been spinning our wheels on the North Coast of Ireland waiting patiently for a gap in the fence. I hear we may be making a break for it in the not-too-distant future.

We both have had some significant struggles with mental health issues over the years, but feel at our happiest when on the road. Don't expect polished b-roll and epic soundtracks. This channel, first and foremost, is for us. Our memory of travel that one day we can look back on. Secondly, we want this channel to be authentic and so it's important we share the ups and downs, the good and the bad.

No idea how often we will post. Just taking it one vlog at a time ..
