Outback killer of Peter Falconio dies after spending 24 years in prison | ABC NEWS

The man who murdered British backpacker Peter Falconio in one of the most notorious criminal cases in Australian history has died.
Bradley John Murdoch was convicted in 2005 of the outback murder as well as the attempted kidnap and assault of Falconio's girlfriend Joanne Lees.
Murdoch was serving a life sentence and was in palliative care at Alice Springs hospital after being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2019.
The NT chief minister says it's disappointing the Falconio family is still without closure.
