Sirui Astra 100mm T1.8 AF making anamorphic cinema easier - IN ENGLISH

Hello. I tested the Sirui Astra 50mm a few months ago… and now it’s finally time for the Sirui Astra 100mm T1.8 AF anamorphic lens.
But this video is not simply a technical review.
We also talk about something very important when working with anamorphic lenses: how visual language changes when you combine different focal lengths.
The entire video was filmed in Open Gate 6K, using autofocus and a LUT applied directly in camera, without any color grading in post.
In this video we’ll look at:
flare behavior,
light sources and bokeh,
technical specifications,
autofocus,
and why this type of anamorphic lens can be much easier to integrate into real-world projects.
