Despite Brexit, are we still on the hook to the EU for £160 billion?! (4k)

According to Tory MP Iain Duncan Smith, the UK could still be on the hook for £160 billion via our continued liability to the European Investment Bank and the EFSM.

According to the Brexiteer Tory MP for Chingford and Woodford Green, Iain Duncan Smith, the UK could be called upon for up to £160 billion due to post Brexit liabilities to the European Investment Bank and the European Financial Stability Mechanism.

Now, I fervently hope he’s wrong on this one - so I did a bit of digging to try and find out where that number came from, and although it could be very bad, I don't think it's as bad as advertised.

But first let’s see what IDS is saying.
