US President Donald Trump waved to supporters from the back of his presidential limousine as he left a polling station after casting his ballot in the presidential election in West Palm Beach on Saturday.

Trump voted at Palm Beach county's main library, where he was not accompanied by first lady Melania Trump.

While the US presidential election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, early voting is already underway in many states, with over 50 million Americans estimated to have already cast their ballots, with observers predicting record turnout.
