Lot 3.1 from Blagoevgrad to Krupnik includes the construction of a motorway from km 359+000 to km 376+000. It is conventionally divided into two sections - section 1 from km 359+000 to km 366+000 /7 km/, and section 2 from km 370+400 to km 376+000 /5.6 km/. Among them, the construction of the "Zheleznitsa" tunnel is planned, which will be implemented by the DZZD "AM Struma tunnel 2018", with participants "GP Group" AD, "Global Construction" OOD and "Via Plan" EOOD, has been selected as the contractor of 2.28 km "Zheleznitsa" tunnel, a tunnel road at the southern portal of the facility and a helicopter pad with 99.96 points, is indicated in the API decision.

The project includes the construction of two sections and a tunnel
section 1 from km 359+000 to km 366+000 /7 km/
section 2 from km 370+400 to km 376+000 /5.6 km/
"Railway" tunnel: from km 366+000 to km 370+400 /2.6 km/

Total length: 17 km
29 m gauge freeway (without the tunnel)

The price of the tunnel alone is 185,370,370. BGN 37 without VAT.
