Pantograph strike at Bedford 05/03/14

Class 377518 and 377511 depart Bedford and pantograph strikes cause damage to the overhead line and the pantographs themselves.

This was at 11:36am on 5th March 2014. I think the train was the slightly delayed 2T35 - 11:24 to Brighton.

The train came to an abrupt stop and passengers were eventually detrained and walked back the short distance to the platform.

A bad day for First Capital Connect Thameslink services with disruption at Leagrave as well.
