Eaton Fuller Ultrashift Plus 10 Speed

What’s going on in the Video: Air Brakes on, Foot Brake pressed for 2-3 secs and Released for 3-5 secs and Repeated.

The Initial Problem: Transmission to Engine Bell housing bolts came loose, opening up a 1/2” Gap on the very top and drivers side of the bell housing.

Missing Bolts were replaced and transmission & engine Remarried.

Transmission threw a Error code 27: Clutch Disengagement.

Truck will NOT go in drive/reverse.

Upon opening up the Inspection Hatch, 2 small springs(1/2” long .2 in diameter) and a broken up half moon shaped shim fell out, the radius of a 3” circle @ .125 wide and .050 thick.

Hypothesis: The ECA(electronic clutch actuator) may have been damaged or Something mechanical was damaged causing the Fault 27.

Problem is yet to be Determined.

Problem Found/Solved: Clutch could not disengage.

The little Springs(7 per plate) were from the 2 Clutch Plates, the 3” OD shim was what held the 21 splined center piece to the plate.

New CLUTCH was needed.

ECA was good.

FYI: Check your Bell Housing Bolts to make sure they have Not come Loose!
