Newport Mansions

On a clear beautiful day in early July, Diana and I decided to take N8475Y and fly up to Newport, RI to check out this famous sailing town. We have not been there before, and being sailors, we were looking forward to exploring this area.

While we found parts of the Newport waterfront a bit touristy for our taste, we did discover some amazing sights, such as the lavish Newport Mansions which included 'The Breakers' (Vanderbilt fame).
