Przeszkoda ta jest rzeczywista, w postaci lustra, z którym prowadzimy złudny "dialog", bądź ekranu komputerowego mornitora, który tylko na pozór stwarza wrażenie, jakby komunikacja, którą z kimś prowadzimy była rzeczywista. Na koniec kostatujemy, iż otaczający nas świat staje się coraz bardziej wirtualny, a nasze życie jakby "na niby".
