Nigerian president on state visit to Morocco

The president of Nigeria is on a state visit to Morocco.
Muhammadu Buhari and King Mohammed VI have witnessed the signing of several agreements during the trip.
STORYLINE:
To a welcoming fanfare, a Mercedes pulls up at the Royal Palace in Rabat.
King Mohammed VI emerges with his guest, Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari is in Morocco for a two-day state visit.
The two leaders witness signing ceremonies for deals which have been agreed between their countries..
That includes a deal on the next phase of a gas pipeline that's being heavily criticised by national and international organisations for climatic and monetary shortcomings.
The pipeline would be an extension of the West African Gas Pipeline (GOA) which links Nigeria to Ghana through Benin and Togo - stretching 5,660 kilometres (3,517 miles) and taking 25 years to be constructed.
Intended to serve a total of 12 African countries and about 300 million consumers, its budget is estimated at 20 billion US dollars but opposition associations say the project will cost a lot more and would be a debt burden for the countries involved.
In 2016, 85 percent of Morocco's foreign direct investment was in Africa, according to the African Development Bank.
Buhari is leaving Morocco on the evening of Monday 11 June.
