DIY clutch exchange, including glowplug swap, exhaust repair and Service B. Not a task for the fainthearted. The engine/gearbox unit is bolted to the front subframe, so it has to come out as a whole. The frame is fastened with 8 bolts from underneath. I took off the brake calipers and driveshafts as well, although it was strictly not necessary, but gave better control over the driveshafts during removal and installation. The engine then had to be loosened from the frame on the left hand side and tilted upwards so the gearbox could be removed. The front bumper can be used for this purpose. Beware that the engine assembly is very heavy, at least 300 kg / 660 lbs!
