How to Adjust Rear Motorcycle Shocks: Honda CB350, CB360, CB450, CB550

https://www.common-motor.com/honda-360-suspension
In this video we show you how to adjust the spring pre-load on the rear shock absorber of your Honda CB350, CB360, CB450, CB550 (and the equivalent CL scrambler models). While the adjustment process is very simple, many riders out there have never even touched the suspension of their bike. Pre-load is important to your motorcycle's suspension as it allows some room to let the shocks float up after hitting a bump allowing for a smoother ride. As a rule of thumb the shocks should compress about 20 to 30% of their travel when you sit on the bike at rest. Spring adjustment will depend on a combination of bike, rider (passenger too) and cargo weight.

Several rear shock options are available for your vintage Honda motorcycle
