What is the correct stirrup length for you? This is something that I revisit all the time with my horses and riders. Firstly, it depends on the rider and the riders balance. Secondly, it depends on the horse. I will have my stirrups shorter for my young horses, as my centre of gravity is lower and therefore I am a bit more balanced on the horse. But of course ideally you want long legs and stirrups so you are deeper in the saddle - so for the more experienced horses and riders you want longer stirrups!!! :)
Have a happy and safe riding week!!
