Egypt won a total of three medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The country won one of each: bronze, silver, and gold. Ahmed El-Gendy won the gold medal in the men's individual modern pentathlon at the Palace of Versailles in Paris after winning silver at Tokyo 2020. With a total of 1,555 points, El-Gendy set a world and Olympic record. This was the last time the modern pentathlon was held at the Olympics because it got dropped from the Olympic program.
