During 2019, Hong Kong made headlines for numerous protests that broke out following Beijing's attempt to impose an Extradition Bill. The proposed law would have allowed Xi Jinping's regime to bring as many Hong Kong residents before the courts of the Chinese Communist Party as he wanted.

That law was curbed, but what is currently happening with Hong Kong residents in 2020 could be much worse.

China intends to put the so-called National Security Law in effect as soon as possible, a law that places issues such as extradition and Chinese interventionism back on the table in Hong Kong's judicial system.

A system that should supposedly operate completely freely and independently until at least 2047.
