Udvar Hazy and Boatin the Potomac River - DC Part 3 | MOTM VLOG #42

This is the last in our Vlog series for Washington DC. In this vlog we visit the Udvar Hazy center down the street from Dulles international airport. Wow what an amazing visit. There are sooooo many planes and flying contraptions of all sorts there. They have lots of space artifacts as well. The tours are well worth your time and very informative. Most of the planes are extremely unique and have amazing stories. They are also all Original! At one point in the video we show the restoration shop that is open to viewing. They had some neat stuff back there. They even told us that most of the engines are in the planes and even functional / could be flown! Wow!

After our visit we met up with some good friends that live in the area to take their new boat for a spin on the river. Although it was still cool we had a great boat ride to a nearby restaurant where we had lunch. They are planning to do the great circle route with their boat the takes you all the way up and around the great lakes and down the Mississippi river! What an adventure that will be and one i hope we can do in the future too!
