If you're wondering why I keep screwing up my terminology a little, it's because I was pretty sick and sleepy when I recorded this. The editing is also pretty minimal and not very professional. But whatever. I'm still doing you a favor ;) Camera died right after the last clip in the video so I didn't manage to get reassembly on video, but I'm sure you can figure it out. Just do it all backwards.

Use the link above for a more thorough how-to on cleaning your EX250/Ninja 250 carbs. The same principles apply to the newer Ninjas (and other carbureted motorcycles) as well, though some of the details may be different. This video is meant to be more of a visual aid than a perfect step-by-step how-to or tutorial, but everything important is covered.
There are a couple of ports on the intake side of the carbs near the bottom that I didn't clean on video, but they were done. One connects to the pilot jet circuit and the other connects to the main jet circuit. Blow all that shit out. I didn't remove the idle mixture screw on camera. Doing that would have been more thorough. You should try to get your lines clean as well by blowing them out. If they're really bad, replace all the lines with fresh ones. It's cheap enough.

Cost: $3 for the carb spray. I already had all the tools laying around.
