HOW TO MAKE GOLDEN SYRUP

I promised I would share with you how to make Golden Syrup.

This Recipe make a Syrup that tastes exactly like what you might buy in the stores.

For those that have never tried it before, it makes a great waffle syrup and is a core ingredient in many Classic British Puddings.

You will Need

200g / 7 oz of Sugar
60ml / 1/4 cup of Water
600ml / 1.25 pints of Water
1 kg / 2.2lb of Sugar
1/4 of a Lemon

Temperature of Hard Crack - 150C / 350F
This recipe make approximately 1.2 litres / 2.5 pints of Golden Syrup
