Captain Hilliard A. Wilbanks was piloting his Cessna Bird Dog as an FAC over the skies of Vietnam. When he saw American led Rangers walking into a trap set by the NVA and the Vietcong, he took it upon himself so hold back the onslaught. An incredibly brave act that resulted in a Medal of Honor.
