Tragic: See What Actually Happened To Nollywood Actor Ernest Asuzu.

On January 27, Nigerians woke up to the sad and tragic tale of the passing away of popular Nollywood actor, Earnest Asuzu.

The news of his de£th was confirmed by several friends and associates including his wife, Jennifer who revealed that he slumped and died on Tuesday night. 

For those who were big fans of Nollywood in the late 90s and early 2000s, the 37 year old Asuzu broke into limelight via the Nollywood Classic, Another Campus Queen. 

His interpretation of characters earned him roles in over 150 Nollywood films including Rituals, Accidental discharge, Royal War, Last Wedding, Broad Day Light, Ogidan, Ugonna, Never End, Burning Desire, Last Wedding, Living Abroad among others. 

Known for acting bad boy roles alongside other veterans, Jerry Amilo, Gentle Jack, Saint Obi, Junior Pope Odonwodo, Zubby Michael, Sylvester Madu, Jim Iyke and Emma Ehumadu, Asuzu won multiple awards including one for Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Movie Academy Awards for his role in a movie titled Labista. 

His other claims to fame include, Best Actor at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Most Promising Actor in Nigeria at the City People Entertainment Awards. 

But Asuzu was not only talented as an actor, he was an all round performer, a rapper, known by the nick - El Cream.
