When he first set foot on Carnegie Mellon's campus, Spencer Burleigh noticed an inefficiency: the textbooks sold in campus Facebook groups were way cheaper than what they'd go for on Amazon. Deciding to capitalize on this opportunity, Spencer started an e-commerce business out of his dorm room. After a few months, he met his co-founder Brian - one thing led to the next and before he knew it, he was interviewing for Y Combinator, dropping out, and moving to San Francisco!
