दिल्ली के बदरपुर इलाके में सुबह-सुबह हुए एनकाउंटर में STF ने कुख्यात अपराधी मोहम्मद सलीम उर्फ ‘गांजा’ को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। आरोपी पर हत्या, हत्या के प्रयास, चोरी और डकैती समेत 75 से ज्यादा मामले दर्ज थे और वह लंबे समय से फरार चल रहा था। पुलिस को उसकी मौजूदगी की खुफिया जानकारी मिली थी, जिसके बाद ऑपरेशन चलाया गया। मुठभेड़ के दौरान आरोपी ने STF टीम पर फायरिंग की, जिसके जवाब में पुलिस ने भी कार्रवाई की और उसे घायल अवस्था में दबोच लिया। फिलहाल आरोपी अस्पताल में भर्ती है और पुलिस उससे पूछताछ कर रही है, जिससे उसके गैंग और नेटवर्क से जुड़े बड़े खुलासे होने की उम्मीद है।

In a major early morning encounter in Delhi’s Badarpur area, the STF arrested notorious criminal Mohammad Salim alias ‘Ganja’. The accused was wanted in over 75 criminal cases, including murder, attempt to murder, theft, and robbery, and had been absconding for a long time. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, the STF launched an operation. During the encounter, Salim opened fire at the police team, prompting retaliatory action in which he was injured and subsequently captured. He is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital, and police are preparing to interrogate him, which may lead to significant revelations about his gang and criminal network.
