Marion Rundown (7-10-18)

Alright, here’s your weekly rundown!! We’re going to start on what happened Sunday and work our way to today! So here we go:

Someone entered the yard of a home in the 1800 block of Southeast 190th Ave and stole tools, a push mower and a riding lawn mower. Total loss is around $1300.

Deputy Austin and Deputy Trainee Bassett responded to the Circle K, located on Southwest Hwy 200, in reference to a suspicious Jeep Cherokee parked at the gas pumps, which had been parked there for over 2 hours. Contact was made with Michael Roy Stewart who was with the vehicle and through their investigation it was learned that the jeep was reportedly stolen. Stewart was arrested and transported to the Gold Star Hotel.

Deputies were dispatched to the 10800 block of SE 168th Lane in reference to a report of a shooting. As Deputy Diaz arrive in the area he observed a white male matching the description of the shooter, later identified as Blake Ellenberger. As Deputy Diaz and Deputy Goff were making contact with the subject, he surrendered. Deputy Kip Peterson and Deputy Zezuski located the victim and had him transported to the hospital. K-9 Deputy Hooper responded and utilized “Rambo” in an area search and located the firearm that was used in the shooting. Ellenberger was arrested and transported to the Gold Star Hotel.

While on patrol Deputy Reed attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Chrysler 4-door in the 6000 block of State Road 200, due the registered owner being classified as a habitual traffic violator. The driver, Ebony Harris, refused to stop at which time a pursuit was initiated. Harris stopped a home on Southwest 10th Ave where she was taken into custody. Harris advised she did not stop due to being a habitual traffic violator and did not want her vehicle towed. Her vehicle was subsequently towed from the scene. And she was transported to the Gold Star Hotel.
