In the words of famous philosopher, George Santayana, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it". Olasupo Shasore, through the life of Cudjoe Lewis (Oluwale Kosola), tells the tragic tale of slavery, colonial rule and the resultant effect on the people - a stolen identity and destruction of our intangible assets. As the Chairman, he constituted the committee and facilitated the review of the Criminal Code Law, Administration of Criminal Justice Law amongst a host of other notable achievements. He is also an avid historian and an accomplished author. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
