You Can't Steal The Grace!

In leadership, whether in life or in business, choosing your team wisely is one of the most critical decisions you’ll make. As scripture teaches us, there were 72 others and 12 disciples—each group with a unique role and purpose. The 72 were capable individuals, sent out on a mission, but they weren’t emotionally invested in the same way as the 12 disciples, who were an extension of the leader, a reflection of their vision, and deeply connected to the mission.

In your business, it’s no different. You’ll have the equivalent of the 72: skilled professionals who are competent, reliable, and crucial for executing specific tasks or projects. These are the people who may not be emotionally tied to your vision but are sent to carry out the mission effectively. They are necessary, but they don’t define the heartbeat of your company.

Then, there’s your 12. These are the people who represent you—your core team, your inner circle, your trusted partners. They are not just capable; they are invested. They share your values, understand your vision, and are willing to walk the journey with you through highs and lows. Choosing this group requires deep thought, discernment, and intentionality because these are the individuals who will shape your company culture, make critical decisions on your behalf, and reflect your leadership in every interaction.
