IPA Struggles: Understanding the Consonant [l]

🎙️ I thought the IPA symbol [l] was just a simple consonant… until I discovered there are actually different ways to pronounce it

So while I was studying the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), I noticed something strange about the consonant [l], and that small discovery sent me into a deep research rabbit hole about pronunciation, tongue placement, and even how different parts of our oral cavity affect the sounds we make in different languages.

Following that discovery I have found that in English this L has two types one is the light one and the other one is the dark one.
