Mulembe Divas

The Luhya are a group of 20 Bantu peoples native to western Kenya.The Luhya women never disappoint when it comes to beauty and making reliable wives. Statistics have it that Luhya ladies, not only for their beauty but character, make good partners as girlfriends and wives. Ladies from the western Kenya Luhya community are holistically brought up to handle their men right with their charm of beauty.

Is Luhya an ethnicity?
The Luhya constituted the second-largest ethnic grouping in Kenya in the 1980s. Most Luhya groups lack traditional chieftainships, being organized into more or less politically autonomous patrilineal lineages, each associated with a stretch of land. With land shortage there has been considerable tribal interspersal.

The Luhya are a western Bantu ethnic group, which comprises of eighteen sub-communities: Isukha, Bukusu, Maragoli, Banyala, Banyore, Batsotso, Gisu, Idakho, Kabras, Khayo, Kisa, Marachi, Marama, Masaaba, Samia, Tachoni, Tiriki and Wanga with different but mutually understood linguistic dialects.
