Arthur Cayzer and Jamie Roberts' sets as Karenn ride the fine but thrilling line between success and failure. Since teaming up in 2011, they've embraced the risk-reward danger of improvised performance, trading the safety net of preparation for the high stakes of thinking on their feet.

Their RA Session sees Cayzer and Roberts working with a pared-back setup—at least by their usual standards. Across 20 minutes we see them using less sound sources and more effects, which Cayzer says has led to a "wider palette of sounds." It shows one of techno's best live acts at the height of their powers.
