GOD OF WAR (2018) - SIGRUN WORLD RECORD - UNDER 15 SECONDS!!!

- UNDER 15 seconds from first hit on Give Me God of War difficulty.

HOW TO DEFEAT SIGRUN QUICKLY:

1. Equip the fully upgraded Zeus Armor, Talisman of the Realms+ and legendary enchantments that maximize Strength.

2. In particular, equip the following:

- Heart of Vanaheim+: This enchantment provides a moderate perk activation chance to grant a boost to Runic, Strength, or Defense on any successful hit.

- Bestla’s Frozen Shard: This enchantment provides a high perk activation chance to grant a Gift of Strength when using the Mists of Helheim.

3. Equip the following runic attacks:

- Hel’s Touch
- Mists of Helheim
- Hyperion Slam
- Blast of Hephaestus or Tartarus Rage

4. Practice the timing of the Chaotic Frenzy and Chaotic Flurry blade combos.

5. Equip the Wrath of the Wolf runic attack for Atreus' bow.

6. Attack as follows:

- Before opening the realm tear that releases Sigrun, equip the axe. This will cause Kratos to reach for the axe after he recovers from being slammed into the ground.

- Start with the Hel’s Touch runic attack. This is the easiest way to stun Sigrun at the beginning of the fight, since the attack is extremely fast. Depending on Sigrun’s opening attack, you can successfully use Hel’s Touch as soon as Kratos grabs his axe.

- When you stun Sigrun with Hel’s Touch, immediately follow this by using the Mists of Helheim. With Bestla’s Frozen Shard equipped, using this runic attack has a reasonably good chance of triggering the Gift of Strength.

- The Gift of Strength combined with Zeus Armor allows Kratos to inflict massive amounts of damage. However, before performing any melee attacks, you will want to change to the blades and quickly land a Hyperion Slam.

- To inflict maximum damage with the Hyperion Slam, you will need to be exactly the right distance from Sigrun. Also, make sure to begin the Chaotic Frenzy attack (described below) when Sigrun is still in the burn area left by the Hyperion Slam. This will cause her to take additional burn damage.

- Right after landing the Hyperion Slam, trigger the Talisman of the Realms to slow down time.

- Then, begin the Chaotic Frenzy attack with the blades. If you are quick enough, you will still have several seconds left of the Gift of Strength from Bestla’s Frozen Shard.

- Part way through the Chaotic Frenzy combination, trigger the Wrath of the Wolves. With Sigrun stunned, Kratos can continue the Chaotic Frenzy attack and chain the last hit into a Chaotic Flurry.

- With the Heart of Vanaheim+ enchantment equipped, there is a chance that Kratos may also get a Gift of Strength during the Chaotic Frenzy/Chaotic Flurry combo.

From what I can tell, the best possible sequence is as follows:

- Mists of Helheim triggers Gift of Strength (because of Bestla’s Frozen Shard).
- Hyperion Slam causes about 2.5 bars of damage.
- Slow down time before Sigrun can escape.
- Keep Sigrun in the fiery area caused by the slam during the Chaotic Frenzy combo.
- Get a second Gift of Strength, triggered by the Heart of Vanaheim+ .
- Land the Wrath of the Wolves at the right time.
- Complete the remainder of the Chaotic Frenzy combo and chain it into the Chaotic Flurry.

If you do this successfully, it should finish the fight.

7. If you can do all the other items listed above, you do not even need to use the Hel’s Touch runic attack. You can just start with the Mists of Helheim . There are a few challenges to doing this, however:

- Compared to Hel’s Touch, it is significantly harder to land the Mists of Helheim before Sigrun’s opening attack.
- If you begin with the Mists of Helheim, it's hard to get maximum damage from an immediate Hyperion Slam because Sigrun rarely ends up in the right spot.

8. The following runic attacks for the axe can also work well:

- Charge of the White Bear
- River of Knives

Charge of the White Bear contains invincibility frames and allows you to charge right through some of Sigrun’s attacks, but it has two disadvantages:

- The animation itself is longer than Hel’s Touch. If you are going for the shortest possible time, it's not the fastest attack.
- You may end up too close to immediately land the Hyperion Slam in a way that will cause maximum damage.

On the second point, if you follow the Charge of the White Bear with the River of Knives attack, this will push Sigrun back so that you can perfectly land the Hyperion Slam. However, the disadvantage of using the River of Knives versus the Mists of Helheim is that the former cannot grant the Gift of Strength, while the latter can.

9. Finally, I also suggested equipping the Blast of Hephaestus or Tartarus Rage (light runic attack) for the blades. This is because they can be enhanced with the legendary enchantments from the shop (Hyrrokkin’s Fiery Shard and Dagr’s Fiery Shard, respectively). Both are also good attacks to finish off Sigrun if needed.
