We gon keep it light today and talk about some male insecurities.

I said this on Instagram once and I’ll say it again for those of you who don’t follow me on ig. This may come as a great shock to some of you but men have anxiety too. Stop believing the bullet about them all being assertive when they see a woman they like or they’re attracted to. Some will some won’t, but you cant apply blanket toughness and resiliency to rejection to any stranger. Man or woman.

So many things influence whether or not a guy will approach you. Or dates you with confidence. Or believe you when you say you only want him. Or think he is worthy or that he even has a chance with you. I’ve known great and mighty men who were terrified to talk to women. I’ve known chumps who approach every woman that walks past them. I’ve been both.

When it’s insinuated that real men do this and that with women I have to laugh. It’s as if they think all men are emotionless, inflated egos
Ready to pounce on any woman they find fair. I assure you for millions of men this is not the case. Just like women they have fears anxiety and insecurities that hold them from not only chasing their career dreams but also the women they dream about. The point of this video is to enlighten some of you ladies to the fact the while men may not always share the same challenges they have just as many.

The first male insecurity on the list is
Their face and hair

You can’t just slap no makeup on no ugly sass man. You can’t just throw a wig over a shitty hairline or cover up a birds nest with concealer. Women have spanks, body compression suits, wonder bra’s, makeup, lace fronts, high heels, and booty pop panties. And thats before sass shots and other forms of plastic surgery. What do men have? Cologne? There aren’t very many forms of aesthetic assistance available men. Men who aren’t handsome have a lot to overcome mentally. Confidence is a challenge when you don’t like what you see in the mirror. Just like men have unlimited options through internet dating women have the same. Men are just as aware of how they stack up as women are. Some men suffer with self esteem issues because of it. Some good men feel invisible to women because they aren’t the most handsome guys around. Just like some women don’t feel beautiful some men don’t feel good looking. It affects some mens self esteem just like women.

Height is another one
Height- while young girls aspire to get married to a prince and become a princess, young boys aspire to be big and strong 💪🏾. Unfortunately everyone can’t be. By age 15 for many men that’s a dream differed. They must make peace with looking up at other guys, and being eye to eye with a lot of women. It can be a lot to process. Women liking talker men or thinking they can kick your sass because y’all are the same size. Lol. A lot of short men are very secure but just as many aren’t. Insecurities often cause them to overcompensate with displays of aggression and other forms of perceived masculinity.
