An Update On Clifford [STORY BELOW]

💗Feel Good Friday: Clifford Update 💗

Clifford’s recovery is nothing short of remarkable. The day of his surrender, he was a shell of himself, barely hanging on at a mere 38lbs. Since then, he has more than DOUBLED his weight. Today, Clifford stands strong at 80lbs, and he’s as spirited and happy as can be!

To avoid refeeding syndrome, a serious possibility for an animal so malnourished, we slowly introduced food to Clifford. He also had some wounds on his face that were promptly treated, then scabbed and fell off over time. For the next few weeks, this sweet boy received round-the-clock medical care and ongoing support. And little by little, he made inspiring progress.

At this time, we’re elated to share that Clifford is seeking his forever home! If you are looking for a forever companion who is as loyal as they come and eager to please, Clifford is a pretty great guy! He's fully vetted and is still receiving essential training. The lovable, four-year-old boy loves running around and playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He will follow you as your shadow, chew on his bones while you sit and work, or melt into you for snuggles.
