Many couples who had no difficulty conceiving their first child are suffering with infertility when trying for their second or third child. This is known as secondary infertility.

This can be a stressful and trying situation for couples who are #TTC #tryingtoconceive

Only 1 out of every five of these couples will seek medical attention compared to half of couples with primary infertility (those who have never been pregnant)

Some of these couples may be worried about the cost but in Illinois, the law requires most employers to cover the cost for infertility diagnosis and treatment.

From the mid 60s to the mid 80s, secondary infertility was decreasing but since then its been increasing
