Big Spending on Anti-Union Persuaders, Latest Data Highlighted by TVLR

Over the weekend, The Labor Valley Report (TLVR) did a segment highlighting these recent examples of bosses hiring “labor relations consultants” to “persuade” workers against collectively bargaining for stronger workplaces and communities. Five notable updates were recently documented by LaborLab in regards to employer attacks on the human right to join together in unions. Most notably, Gruma Corporation in Irving, TX paid Logic Labor Relations $475/hour to “persuade” workers not to unionize. Sysco Corporation in Stockton, CA also paid Logic Labor Relations $475/hour to do the same kind of work. Frog Hill Roofing in Bellingham, WA hired The CCG Group and did not report their compensation rate.

Also, ALG HR Solutions amended their LM-20 for USIC (Indianapolis, IN) to include their compensation rate of $425/hour. Galilea Corp amended their LM-20 for Breakthru Beverage California to include their compensation rate of $2,225/day.
