Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur

Batu Caves temple with 42 meters tall statue of Kartikeya (Hindu god of war). A total of 272 steep steps lead to the temple complex inside limestone hill, place is also well known for its numerous long-tailed macaques.

Batu Caves are located in Gombak, Selangor (approx. 13 km from Kuala Lumpur, easy accessible by train, entrance is free).
