Forget Oil and Gas English Teacher Jobs in 2020. Do This Instead.

If you haven't been following the commodities markets, the price of oil went negative for the first time in history on the 20th of April this year. That's right... NEGATIVE. If you have oil, but nowhere to put it, the price can actually be worth less than zero because of the associated costs. Many companies are hemorrhaging cash and many of these employ English teachers. Given the current global climate and countries like Saudi Arabia and Russia fighting with each other over pricing action, it's no surprise to many that EFL programs and language instructor hiring in the Gulf are not real considerations right now... and definitely not taking priority. Instead of fixating on this lack of jobs that has historically always been there, I discuss what you might consider doing.
