What's the difference between SOME and ANY?

In this video you learn the rules for using SOME and ANY and also SOMETHING and ANYTHING, SOMEWHERE and ANYWHERE, SOMEBODY and ANYBODY, SOMEONE and ANYONE. There are some exercises at the end of the video so watch until the end for that.

Generally you use ANY in questions and negatives and SOME in affirmatives but there are exceptions.

We'll also look at using ANY before a singular countable (or uncountable) noun to mean "it's not important what".
and NO before a noun to mean "there isn't any"
