Freemasons are one of the most feared and powerful secret societies in history, shrouded in myth, rumor and scandal. With the Da Vinci Code movie hitting theatres this year, the public’s interest in Masons has never been higher. THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE FREEMASONS will throw a revealing spotlight onto the inner workings of this shadowy and legendary movement.

Episode 1: The Legends. Here, we try to crack the code of Rosslyn, a mysterious chapel near Edinburgh Scotland, featured at the climax of the Da Vinci Code. Rosslyn is central to Masonic history and lore, and we’ll find out why. We’ll also see the most important of all Masonic rituals, a murder in the Temple of Solomon, and learn its significance to Freemasonry’s secret history. This is a TV first.
