Cottage Restoration Part 2: Leveling
In this episode, I begin to level the floor of the cottage which is in terrible shape. The piers holding up the beam running though the middle of the house have sunk and are shimmed up in this video.
So much of the work is excavating loose dirt from the crawlspace so that I can fit under the house. Additionally, there is a little more demolition as I cut out the old copper pipe.
Leveling a house is incredibly dangerous work. This video is for entertainment purposes only--never try this at home.
