THE CHEAP BIKE CHALLENGE - WILL THEY SURVIVE?

The cheap bike challenge! We got bikes from Walmart and pushed them to the limits on urban freeride, sand dunes and mtb riding, but will they survive and who will win?

I had a fun idea while out in California to buy some cheap bikes and see how long they would last. Myself, Lukas Knopf and Marc Diekmann ended up buying cruiser bikes from a Walmart superstore and taking them out in Monterey in search of some MTB trails and urban freeride lines. The challenge was to see who's bike would last the longest and the winner would take home $100, it was all to play for! The spots we found to ride around Monterey were awesome and actually would have been super fun on my real mountain bike but that can happen next time. This trip was all because of my visit to the Sea Otter Classic mountain bike show, so i'm very glad I decided to go. The video was shot on GoPro HERO 7 Black!
