In this video, I show you how I paint a bracken fern in my nature sketchbook. Starting with a pencil drawing we will add layers of watercolour to build up shape and form and create a realistic botanical study. Brackens are noted for their large, highly divided leaves. They are found on all continents. Paint along with me and see how this comes together.
