The ADHD Test (Quick Identification of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
This is the official ADHD Test for adults.
Important: Everybody kind of does these things, only if you do these considerably more than others however, should you assign that criteria to yourself.
In this video I hope to help people with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) quickly test ADHD by themselves, without having to go to a therapist. To do this I've listed 14 criteria, as published by the APA (American Psychology Association), which are known to be affiliated with ADHD. If you you've identified 8 or more of those 14 criteria to fit to you, then you most likely have ADHD.
The test critera are as follows:
1. You have trouble sitting still
2. You're quickly distracted by different things that are stimulating
3. You experience difficulty when having to concentrate on tasks or games that don't interest you, for a longer period of time
4. You quickly switch from one activity to another, leaving the other unfinished
5. You can't keep internally still
6. In group constellations, you can't wait until its your turn
7. You often know the answer to a question before a person has finished asking it
8. You have trouble fulfilling tasks
9. You experience difficulty when having to play calmly
10. You often don't think things through before you do the, which got you the reputation of being a risk-taker
11. You often loose things that you need in order to do homework, complete assignment..or get home
12. You often disrupt others
13. You talk a lot
14. You often don't seem to be listening when other people are talking
I did not make up these critera. I obtained them from: https://www.psychiatry.org/patients-families/adhd/what-is-adhd
Think of these criteria as sort of like an ADHD/ADD Quiz that you can take by yourself.
