Light Up 2018 Laser Show at Dubai Burj Khalifa

Light Up 2018 left over a million visitors astounded on New Year’s Eve so they decided to extend the run of the show until March 2018. Based on the iconic Burj Khalifa, the show set a world record for the largest light and sound show on a single building.

The show uses powerful beams and LED lights, spread out over 109,000 square metres of the Burj Khalifa’s surface. The skyscraper was transformed each night, lit up and turned into one of the world’s brightest spots, at 76.3 million lumens. The show itself features the colours of the UAE flag and symbols of nature, as well as a tribute to the UAE’s founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
