Playthrough | Part 6: Surprises Abound

After that massacre previously, we return back to the Underkeep.

As we do, we eventually encounter the one in charge, Murdaw. Murdaw was expecting us but this time, we are more than ready. The only strategy I have is simple: give it everything you have. Any healers should focus on buffing the party to reduce the amount of damage you take. Use Sap to lower his defenses and you can be able to bring the pain. If things get rough, use your party to heal up and then attack. Follow that and you should be alright. Oh and he'll Buff too so counter with Sap.

With Murdaw defeated, he's about to escape. But then we use Ra's Mirror and find out that it's King Somnus. What is going on? We return back to Somnia and after explaining things to the Chancellor, it seems that we got to get a move on. We then head for the real world only for us to get locked up. Eventually we meet with the real king and queen. They apologize for what happened but the king says that Rek looks like his son. He also wants to know the truth. We tell him the truth and he explains what happened and how he ended up becoming Murdaw in the dream world.

The king heads off and we follow. He wants us to find a ship so we can take the fight to the real Murdaw. We must head to the town of Ghent as they hold the sacred ship, the Providence. He gives us a Royal Missive. We head to Ghent and after some prep, we meet up with the Elder. It's also here we meet Nevan, the Elder's grandson. He then encounters us and we ask about using the Providence. He says no but it's then he hears the same voice we did. This voice tells Nevan that his destiny lies with them and that they must head to the Isle of Murdaw in the Providence. After that, Nevan says that they must use the Providence as per order by the Goddess. The Elder realizes that Rek and his crew are the heroes.

Nevan joins the group and with it, the seal holding the Providence ship is broken in the shrine. With it, they set sail to the Isle of Murdaw. Ashlynn stays behind and she doesn't explain why. But it's then we find a ship that was abandoned. Weird.

We're taking care of the Isle of Murdaw in Part 7 and that's going to get nuts.
