Our Luxury Maldives Water Villa | 4K Travel Vlog | Baros Maldives

After 17 hours of travelling, we arrived in the Maldives. A speedboat took us from Malé (the capital of the Maldives) to our luxurious Maldives resort - Baros resort. Baros was the 3rd resort to be built in the Maldives and it has been running for over 45 years.

I had booked to stay in Baros as it is one of the few independent resorts in the Maldives and is owned by a Maldivian family. The resort has eco-friendly ethics and is not overly-developed. They also steer clever from single-use plastics as much as possible and all food waste is composted. These are all qualities which I look for when choosing hotels to stay at - that and the glowing customer reviews online.
