Hey friends!
Here we will see how to make a Pet Bed from Upcycled clothes. Its a complete DIY project for kids. The real motivation for this project is Upcycling which we all overlook these days. i think we all should try to upcycle more in order to make use of old used stuff and minimizing the volume of discarded materials and waste being sent to landfill each year.
Kids can easily do this project with little bit of elders guidance. you can challenge them to come out from their comfort zone and try something new. They can learn new things(sewing, hand coordination, Upcycling old things) which will definitely help them in future. It will surly enhance their motor skills, coordination skills, cognitive skills and many more.
for our Pet Bed we used an Old Baby Bed Protector and a old fleece cloth. you can use anything like an old plaid, minky fabric, thin blankets or even old bed sheets. It is a reversible Pet Bed and can be used in four different ways( explained in video).Tanay(my son) has done this project under my(Sonika) guidance. He hand sew this Bed but you can also use machine where stitching is required.
