How To Handsand a Mirror Finish! Knife making Tutorial: Zac Buchanan Knives - Mirror Polish Blade

In this video Zac talks about and shows the process he uses to achieve the mirror polish featured on the knives he makes. Starting at a 600 grit cork belt finish, Zac handsand with Matador sandpaper at 1,200 grit, 2,000 grit and finally 2,500 grit. Then he buffs the grinds with yellow sunsheen buffing compound to finish the mirror polish.
