*Note from the songwriter:
This song is a healing balm for my struggles with body dysmorphia and gender dysphoria. Sometimes it feels like my appearance is a barrier or a smokescreen separating me from myself, and often the only thing that is able to clear that up and bring me back to myself is the act of creation through music-making.
